Dear Community,

If you recently saw an email from me, this page is the website version with more detail specifically the product direction, what to expect over the next few phases, and how you can help shape it.

This is Walter Moreira, many of you may recognize the last name due to having known my father Steven Moreira 2016 past president of CCIM.

I have had the opportunity to be exposed to the commercial real estate industry at a young age traveling with my father to many CCIM events around the United States.

I have grown up around Rick Orr watching him build TotalCommercial day by day. And have always had a fascination with his website and platform. Dreaming that one day I could create a platform as loved as TotalCommercial. When I heard about Rick's desire to sell his business I became intrigued with the possibility of having a shot at ownership.

That opportunity presented itself in the final months of 2025. And as you know from my previous email I have officially become the owner of TotalCommercial.

Rick is a man who is truly loved and cherished by all in the commercial real estate community. None of this would be possible without him taking the leap of faith to create TotalCommercial decades ago. I do not take ownership of TotalCommercial lightly.

As you can imagine there is much work to be done, thankfully I am not going at it alone. I am joined by my best friend Steven whom I met during my time in Boy Scouts achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Steven and I have been friends for over 15 years and are looking forward to creating a platform that will help you throughout your commercial real estate career.

To us TotalCommercial is not just another listings website. It is a place where CRE professionals will go to solve their biggest challenges and to build their business.

Steven and I understand that without each and every one of you none of this would be possible. We are grateful to have your support.

We are on a mission to create a truly community focused platform that solves your biggest challenges working in the day to day operations of CRE. As part of our mission we would welcome your honest feedback: good, bad or indifferent using TotalCommercial.

We also welcome any ideas, suggestions or feature requests.

Website Roadmap

We’re currently investing in foundational work to modernize the codebase and strengthen the platform. This work prepares TotalCommercial for more consistent updates and safer feature releases over time.

During this phase, most changes are focused on reliability, security, and structural stability. These improvements are largely behind the scenes, they allow us to move faster and safer in future phases.
